Implementation history

Auchan: Implementation of a new business model

Gloria Jeans: Migration from SAP Commerce Cloud

The Ensi solutions became the basis of Gloria Jeans' IT ecosystem developed to replace SAP Hybris. The online store website and mobile application were fully transitioned to the service-gravitated architecture. The new platform contributes to the reduction of new functionality implementation costs, foreign software support termination risks and dependence on vendors, thereby mitigating the loss of IT control.

Online sales launch in a mobile application

Ensi services formed the basis for the development of the mobile application "Magnit Cosmetic Online" and enabled automating the work with goods, orders, customers and marketing tools.

Later Ensi services were integrated into the backend of the "Magnit Delivery" application and continue to be developed under the control of the customer’s own team.

Platform development in three main areas

Automation of key processes in e-commerce

⟶ We use the experience gained from our cases to develop universal functionality. This approach reduces the cost of adapting the solution to a particular business, which is the main budget item of any implementation.

Integration with external systems

⟶ Ensi Platform is designed with the idea of connectors — special services responsible for integration with internal systems of the company or external SaaS products. The use of connectors preserves the integrity of the architecture and reduces labour costs when solving integration tasks.

No-code

⟶ To perform frequent repetitive operations, Ensi offers special interfaces and configuration wizards. They are used to move a part of the process from development to the administration level. This increases the speed of changes, improves the quality and reduces the cost.
Technology stack

Up-to-date technology and development infrastructure

In Ensi we use an up-to-date technology stack that takes into account industry needs, licence purity and labour market conditions. Within a special process, the technological components of the platform are constantly updated. This reduces the technical debt buildup during the operation of the system.

Support for development and scaling

Ensi is built on the basis of a service-gravitated architecture, platform functions are implemented in separate independent applications and grouped in business domains. To solve specific tasks, you can use both all offered services and their specific configuration with already existing systems of your company.
Ensi is a headless solution for a multichannel strategy. It provides API connection of any user interfaces such as websites, mobile apps, storefronts, picker interfaces in stores, marketplaces and more.
The Platform is initially adopted for containerisation systems. This provides flexibility to manage the service scaling under increasing workloads and automate deployment.
The Platorm architecture promotes the implementation of a product approach in your company, with individual business domains being able to develop independently of each other.
Economy and Independence

Reduction of costs and dependence on vendors

Ensi is distributed as free and open-source software. The platform also uses only open-source components. The system source code is open and available for use by any partner or third-party developer.
The platform architecture eliminates dependence on a particular solution provider or implementing company. Weak connectivity of services enables replacing obsolete applications with new ones without the necessity to modify the rest of the system.
These Ensi capabilities enable organising the solution development process according to the competitive advantages of each participant and achieving a significant reduction in costs for subsequent support and development of the system.
